GBG! Success Story! Personal experience with the product

Time to update! Hopefully I will be able to stay focused and keep you updated in a more timely fashion. As I mentioned in my last post I've become involved with a health industry company and have used some of the proceeds from my auction finds for start up capital for my new venture. I make it sound like there is some kind of big deal about start up when truthfully the startup is less than $20.
I've been using GBG's 10-in-One vitamin and mineral formula for going on a month now. I have to tell you that I'm unbelievably impressed. I've mentioned my health problems in my previous posts and I'm happy to report that I'm doing really well. I'm still only a little over six weeks out from the hip replacement surgery and I'm already walking with the use of a cane. I have my driving priviledges back and am enjoying my new found freedom.
Obviously I can't say that 10-in-One is responsible for my rapid recovery, but I can honestly tell you the following: Two weeks ago I was taking a nap every day at 11:00 AM for about an hour and another at 3:30 in the afternoon for about an hour and a half. I haven't had a nap in almost two weeks and my energy level has been amazing. I take 14 pills a day for treatment of high blood pressure, diabetes, atrial fibrilation, and also take tylenol for arthritis pain. I check my blood pressure and blood sugar once daily per Dr. instruction. Last night I checked both before bed and my BP was 122/77 and my blood sugar was 113. I was so close to normal that I had complained of light headedness. My body isn't accustomed to normal. As recently as last summer I was in the hospital with BP readings of 210/120. Granted I'm taking blood pressure meds now, but I was then. My Drs. here have adjusted them and things seem to be going well, but there has been a decided difference in BP reading just in the last two weeks. My average blood sugar has come down about 10 points as well. Another interesting side light is an obvious change in appetite. 10-in-one does have an appetite suppressant component. I've noticed a definite change and when I weighed in at my Dr. appoinment last week I had lost 10 pounds. I have to be honest and say I don't know how much of this is related to the surgery and natural recovery, and how much is related to 10-in-one, but I do know there has been a decided difference since I began taking 10-in-one.
The even more telling aspect of this story is the fact that my wife Brenda, who is the most skeptical person I know ( I often call her my "conscience"), has noticed the difference and has started taking 10-in-one as well. She has also joined me in the business venture, which I never dreamed she would do. She is the original proponent of "if it is too good to be true_____" you fill in the blanks.

As I mentioned yesterday I have an announcement to make today. My $3 worth of cans has grown now to $201. I've been lucky so far but as an old mentor of mine used to say " luck is just preperation meeting opportunity". While I've been dealing with my health issues I've been doing a lot of research on health issues in general. I've begun to use vitamins and supplements and have started an exercise program. I've become a firm believer in the benefit of putting the right things in your body. I view my study of various vitamins and supplements as the preparation. Now it seems that opportunity has reared its wonderful head. A group of friends from Michigan are going great guns in a new money making opportunity and I've decided to join them. It basically involves the use and sale of various vitamins and supplements. As I said I've already begun using vitamins on a daily basis and feel certain that they have paid big dividends during my health issues. My recovery from surgery has been marvelous, and now to find the opportunity to get paid to use these same health aides has to be proof of the preparation meeting opportunity adage.

My total investment in the program is less than $150 and the opportunity to make money is limitless. Although I could have gotten into the program for under $20 I felt it was best to do it right and get a little more involved. Long time no write!

Well it has been a long time since I last posted. Lets see! Stress test, heart cath, four teeth extractions, hip replacement surgery, and numerous visits to some of North Carolina's finest medical facilities, and personal contact with some of the finest medical professionals on earth. Now nothing but time on my hands until I'm back up and going. Hopefully I can get you caught up on a lot of things. As you know, the purpose of my blog is to take you along with me as I travel a journey from three bags full of aluminum pop cans to untold riches. If you've follwoed the blog I got all of $3 for the cans I had been saving for months. I took my $3 to an auction where I spent a dollar an early computer game from the 70's and $2 on a book entilled "The Mill on the Floss" by George Eliot. Vintage 1926. I later sold the computer game on Ebay for $25 and as you probably know I found a couple of interesting book marks in the book. They were advertising pieces from Shotwell Candy featuring Red Grange. I sent them to Leon Luckey to put in the Brockleman and Luckey Feb. collectibles auction. I'm happy to report that the two items sold for $176. Thats right my initial $3 worth of cans has now grown to $201. Not a bad start. Tomorrow I will be revealing my plans for investing the $201. Hopefully you will find it as exciting as I do and will want to participate with me as I attempt to grow the fund.

Suggestions anyone?

Well another week of frustration with "The Mill on the Floss and Manuscript". Still no takers on Ebay. I guess we'll pack it up and try again later or find a different venue for the sale. Any suggetions? After a week of travel and family for the Holiday it is back to the drawing board. I'll be checking out the auction circuit this week and see if there is anything promising for the $25.99 from the sale of the SNF Roger Staubach game. As mentioned last week, the surprise bookmarks featuring the 1926 Red Grange advertising pieces will be featured in the Brockelman & Luckey Auctions Feb. sale. I will be updating as the process goes on.

Good News

Good News everybody! The Monday Night Football Computerized Game auction ended very successfully. The final bid was $25.99. A real boost to the kitty. The book and manuscript did not sell so I have relisted it. As I mentioned on several occaisions last week, I think I listed it in the wrong category and this week have listed it in a more general category that may get more attention. I will be looking to invest my $25 windfall this week. I have a couple of ideas, but I will see where my journey takes me. I am in cold blustery Ohio this week, as opposed to just plain old cold North Carolina. I had to drive in snow this morning which I've learned over the years to detest. I'll take the cold sunshine of home anytime.

On a note of interest, I discovered that it is important that you do your home work when conducting an Ebay auction. When my wife went to the post office to mail the MNF game to the winning bidder in Tx., I discovered that it was an odd size for mailing. I had put a $5 price tag on the shipping, but discovered that because of the size it cost over $12 to mail. A valuable lesson to learn as I get back into the swing of things with Ebay. Next auction I will checking shipping first before posting a price. Fortunately I did well on the auction.

I will be posting a spread sheet next time, so you can "follow the money" as they say. I will try to keep it as up to date as possible. My dilemma now is to decide if I will invest the the $25 profit into one larger item or stick with the original strategy which was pretty much dictated to me by the meager sum I derived from the sale of my cans. It could be a lot of fun trying to decide which $2 items can be converted as easily and as profitably as my last purchase. I have a couple of days to decide since the next few days will be devoted to family matters and the Holiday. I will post as developments occur.

Ebay Auction About to End!

Good news! The bidding is heating up on the Roger Staubach Monday Night Football Computerized Game. It is now over $15 with a little over four hours to go. There have been several bids today so I'm optimistic that I will do well. You can watch the auction real time by going to the Ebay search box at the bottom of my blog and type in item#260316712048. I will give you full details in tomorrow's post.
My other auction on the 1923 "Mill on the Floss" and the April 16, 1926 History IV homework assignment, has still seen no action. As mentioned yesterday if the book and manuscript doesn't sell I will be re listing it. More news on the two Red Grange 1926 Shotwell Candy promotional pieces. It was revealed to me on Leon Luckey's vintage football forum, that these pieces were distributed in candy bars manufactured by Shotwell in 1926. They are rare and it is estimated that each piece is worth between $100-$200. I have decided to accept Leon's offer to put these pieces in his Feb. vintage card auction. It will be exciting to see how the auction goes in Feb. I will keep you posted on this type of auction process as it unfolds.
I mentioned yesterday that I was planning go to an auction, but frankly it was 23* last evening which was a near record low here in the Carolinas. I decided to sit by the fire instead, but did manage to take in a couple of flea markets this morning and found a couple of interesting pieces, but decided to do some investigating and will go back later and see if they are still there and possibly make an offer. I think it is always important to have a feel for what you are bidding on. I felt good about both of my purchases last week although I did not have specifics, but for $1 and $2 I felt comfortable.
Tomorrow we head back to our former home in Ohio to visit with family for the holiday and take in a couple of business meetings. I will try to keep you posted on my journey. There are a couple of places up there that I like to visit, and can usually find good bargains. Well I see the Staubach game is up to $15.16 with a little over three hours to go. I will sign off and keep an eye my auction.

The Search Is On

Well the search is now on. As I mentioned in my last posting, in my project of converting my three dollars worth of aluminum cans in to unknown fortune, I came across a book from 1923. In the back of the book I discovered two advertising pieces from the 20's featuring Chicago Bears running back Red Grange. They are displayed here on the blog. I searched the internet and came across a website devoted to vintage sports memorabilia. I emailed the site's administrator, Mr Leon Luckey. He responded with a very nice email and indicated that he had submitted my request for information to the vintage football forum that he operates. He assures me that one of the members of his forum will have information on this unique find. In other matters, the Roger Staubach Monday Night Football Computerized Game from 1972 is doing well on Ebay. The bidding is now up to $9.38 with two days to go. That auction can be viewed by going to the Ebay search box at the bottom of the page and typing in item #260316712048. It will be fun to see where that auction ends.

In my other auction, the 1923 Student Edition of George Eliot's "Mill on the Floss" and homework manuscript, there are no takers. As I mentioned previously, I think I may have listed it in the wrong category on Ebay. If there are no takers, I will definitely re list it. An interesting side note is that I notice that the Staubach piece has had over three times as many hits as has the 1923 Book. 38-11. Just a note for those who like to keep score.

Tonight is Fri night. Auction night for us. Several nice auctions on the list, but with Christmas rapidly approaching you can really get bogged down in the Christmas junk and not ever get to the nice little gems that I like to look for. Tomorrow I will let you know how things went. I will work under the assumption that the bidders on Ebay are good for the money and put $9 into the budget for this auction. I won't presume to be as lucky as last week, but we shall see. Check in tomorrow and see what kind of goodies may be available.
